Submissions for Fall 2026, Volume 47 Issue 1

The Children’s Legal Rights Journal (CLRJ) is a national journal sponsored by 草莓社区 School of Law in cooperation with the National Association of Counsel for Children. CLRJ focuses on the broad range of legal issues confronting children, including child welfare, juvenile justice, adoption, mental health, education, and more.

Submissions must meet the following criteria:

  • An original, unpublished article that addresses an issue involving children and the law.
  • Must be between 15 and 60 pages double spaced and contain footnote citations that conform to the latest edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.
  • Preference will be given to submissions by non-law students, but exemplary submissions by current law students may still be reviewed.

To submit a manuscript for consideration, please upload a Word document to Scholastica or email your submission to CLRJSubmissions@luc.edu.

CLRJ will accept submissions on a rolling basis until August 10, 2026, with priority given to early submissions.
