What is your Loyola Love Story (how/where did you meet, how long have you been together, etc.)?
After multiple semesters of sharing the same pre-med classes and exchanging countless glances in passing, I finally made the first move. I asked Marco if he’d ever want to work out with me since we coincidentally had the same gym schedule. The very next day, we worked out together for the first time, and we haven’t left each other’s side since. Now, three years later, we still talk about how grateful we are to Loyola and Halas recreational center for bringing us together.
What would be your advice to fellow Ramblers for a happy relationship?
Focus on investing in yourself and your education, and God will allow you to meet your person when the timing is right!
What have you both been up to since you graduated?
Marco is finishing up his first year of medical school, and I am in my first year of PA school! We still have countless study dates and wouldn't be succeeding without each other's unconditional support!
What are your fondest memories of Loyola?
Meeting my partner was the most beautiful part of my Loyola experience. I will always miss our study dates at Cudahy Library and walks around the most gorgeous campus in Chicago.
If you could offer a current Loyola student advice, what would it be?
Take advantage of every single opportunity Loyola has to offer, and remember that even on your hardest day, one day you’ll look back and miss these moments more than you ever expected.
