Founded in 1979, the Loyola Women’s Studies program was the first at a Jesuit institution. Now, the Women's Studies and Gender Studies program offers a major, a minor, a graduate concentration for Ph.D. students, and two graduate programs – an MA program and a dual degree program with Social Work. Undergraduate students of any major can start earning an MA their senior year through our Accelerated Masters Pathway (AMP).
