Requirements
MCAT and Academic Information
- All applicants are required to take the MCAT. There is no minimum MCAT score used for screening; all scores are reviewed within a holistic admissions framework.
- All lifetime MCAT scores are visible to the admissions committee and considered in the context of academic trends and preparation.
- Acceptable MCAT date range (cycle 2027):
- Oldest MCAT considered: January 2024
- Latest MCAT considered: November 1, 2026
- The committee prefers subsection scores at or above the 50th percentile (125) 鈥痠n Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems (CPBS) and Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems (BBFL) on the most recent MCAT attempt.
- Candidates who demonstrate success on their initial MCAT attempt are viewed favorably. Applicants with multiple MCAT attempts receive additional academic review to better understand preparation and outcomes.
GPA, Academic Trends, and Postbaccalaureate Work
- No minimum GPA is used for screening.
- Applications are reviewed holistically, with emphasis on:
- Upward academic trends
- Sustained rigor, particularly in science coursework
- Postbaccalaureate and graduate coursework is considered, especially when undergraduate performance is lower.
- While no formal minimum is stated, the admissions process considers approximately 24 credits of postbaccalaureate or graduate coursework to be a meaningful trend when evaluating academic improvement.
