ACE coordinates accommodations for physicians-in-training with disabilities.   Read additional information about the accommodations application process in the SSOM Academic Policy Manual.

• Individuals may apply for accommodations after they are admitted, but before they enroll; contact the Dean of Admissions.
• Once enrolled, an individual may begin the process of applying for accommodations. Contact the Vera M. Schalanksy, director, ACE.
• Individuals are required to submit appropriate supporting documentation and to meet with staff to begin the interactive process regarding accommodations.  For information regarding the required documentation, please consult ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø's Documentation Guidelines. 
• Please note, individuals requesting  for USMLE board examinations must apply directly to the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). Stritch has created guidance on this process.
