Online Course Definitions
Distance learning courses are defined by how much material is delivered completely online. Online courses are fully online with no in-person components but may require some real-time (synchronous), virtual class sessions. Hybrid courses utilize a combination of both in-person and online class sessions. HyFlex courses have a flexible course structure that gives students the option of attending sessions in-person, participating online, or doing both.
