Journal of Regulatory Compliance

To stimulate academic discussion of the role of regulatory compliance in today鈥檚 business landscape, Loyola has launched the 草莓社区 Journal of Regulatory Compliance. The Journal publishes scholarship from the interdisciplinary perspectives of law, economics, philosophy, and ethics. The Journal seeks to advance academic dialogue on managing regulatory risk in a commercial enterprise, the experience of the regulated actor, and analysis of regulations in the context of organized efforts to comply with law. Each bi-annual publication offers a forum for both speculative and practical discussion of regulatory compliance issues, trends, and developments.

publishes the Journal of Regulatory Compliance on a bi-annual basis . The Journal hosts an annual symposium in the Spring of each academic year and accepts topics for publication in the Spring Edition of the Journal based on the symposium topic chosen for that year.

In addition to the publication of scholarly articles, the Journal also maintains the student-run blog, , to provide up-to-date reviews of regulations, regulatory developments, administrative law, and operational approaches to regulatory compliance. The blog aims to:

  • Provide continuous exploration of what compliance means, both broadly for all regulated actors, and more specifically within certain industries;
  • Disseminate information about the 鈥渞egulations鈥 to which actors must conform, particularly the unfolding of new regulations which is not a weekly occurrence but a daily happening;
  • Serve as a resource on how regulated actors manage regulatory risk and compliance.
