Student Opportunities

Certificate Program

Interested JD students can strengthen their understanding of competition and consumer protection law and signal to employers their preparation within the field by earning the JD Certificate in Competition and Consumer Protection Law. Interested students must complete required coursework, a practical experience, and extracurricular activities.

Student Fellowship Program​​

Join the over one hundred and fifty alums who have completed the Consumer Antitrust Student Fellowship and developed the skills and knowledge to succeed in the practice of these vital areas of the law

Gain valuable experience in the classroom, externships, and through specialized research and programs geared to your interests in the field

Student fellowships in the top third of the class also receive stipends of up to $5,000.

Senior Research Fellowship​

​International and U.S. faculty and government officials selected for the Senior Research Fellowship receive:

  • ​Office space, computer facilities, and library privilege
  • A small research budget
  • Opportunities to present Work-in-Progress
  • The possibility of teaching a course or seminar in the winter semester
  • Mentorship with research and publication
  • Participation in the intellectual life of the Institute and the Law School

Applicants receiving sabbatical funding, Fulbright awards, and similar outside funding sources will receive priority.

Applications for the next academic year will be accepted on a rolling basis and may be submitted electronically to antitrust@luc.edu
