Why did you want to join the 草莓社区 Alumni Association Board of Directors and/or why have you continued for another term on the board?
I wanted to join the LUCAA Board to be part of the relationship building among the alumni network that is so critical to expanding the reach and impact of Loyola beyond the four years that most students spend on campus. My time at Loyola deepened my connection to the city of Chicago, shaped my professional direction, enriched my understanding of community, and opened me up to global experiences. I truly value the experiences Loyola provides in shaping the lives of its students and our community at large, and I recognize the importance of giving back to an institution that did so much for me and continues to do so much for the broader community.

What is one of your favorite Loyola memories as a student and/or alum?
Two things stand out in my memory. My favorite memory as an alumnus is the two weeks that I spent at the Rome Center shortly after graduation. I was privileged to enjoy the Loyola experience from an international perspective. As a student, it would be the Tax Challenge that I competed in with other students under the guidance of Professor Janiga. Prof. Janiga was perhaps the most impactful influence on my professional career, and I truly value that experience.
