Susan Dimock is Director of ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø’s Washington Program. Prior to Loyola, Dr. Dimock was Interim Director for the University of Illinois’ Washington, DC, internship program for 3 years, and served as an instructor and the Associate Director of Illinois in Washington since spring 2008. She brings previous teaching and management experience with study-in-Washington programs from many years at the University of California’s Washington Center. Dr. Dimock began her Washington career working on health policy as a Congressional Fellow in the Office of Senator Jack Reed (D-RI). She then worked as the Program Manager at the Jacobs Institute of Women’s Health and served as that organization’s Acting Executive Director as it underwent a major reorganization and merger with GWU’s Department of Public Health. Dr. Dimock holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego and a BA in History from Cornell University. She lives in Falls Church, VA with her husband, Michael, and their son, Casey.
