Patrick Boyle

Associate Professor


Professor Boyle's teaching and research interests include African Politics, comparative politics, and the politics of development. His current writing and field research projects focus on the politics of social services in several francophone states of central Africa. His published work has appeared in World Politics, Journal of Modern African Studies, African Studies Review, Africa Today, and in edited volumes. He is author of Class Formation and Civil Society: The Politics of Education in Africa (1999).
