Dawn Carter, MEd
Director of Administrative Operations
Dawn Carter joined the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing in January 2020. As the director of administrative operations, Dawn oversees a broad range of administrative operations, represents and serves as an ambassador for the dean鈥檚 office, manages operational aspects of the strategic planning process, and facilitates numerous projects in close collaboration with the dean and MNSON leadership. Dawn also oversees administrative support. Dawn has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in English Literature from Chicago State University and a Master鈥檚 degree in Education Leadership with certification to teach secondary English from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to joining Loyola, Dawn most recently held positions at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing and Chicago Public Schools.
Dawn鈥檚 favorite place at the Lake Shore Campus is the outdoor area outside of Madonna della Strada Chapel鈥檚 east, lake front facing doors. It鈥檚 a wonderful place to take a time-out among the chapel and lake鈥檚 beauty.
