Mission Integration

We are Chicago's Jesuit, Catholic university

a diverse community seeking God in all things and working to expand knowledge in the service of humanity through learning, justice, and faith.

Our Community

As a Jesuit, Catholic university, sustainability and care for the natural world is at the core of our mission and values. Through initiatives championed by the School of Environmental Sustainability, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to learn about and engage with sustainability efforts through educational programs, community partnerships, and waste reduction efforts.

"Only by being a person for others does one become fully human." Pedro Arrupe, S.J.

Our Story
