Professor Suzanne Kaufman won the French Colonial Historical Society鈥檚 article prize for her piece 鈥淚ncident at Sousse: West African Soldiers, Legionnaires, and the Racial Politics of Colonial Policing in 1930s French Tunisa鈥� in the French Historical Studies.
