Madelyn Kist

Teaching Assistant Professor


Dr. Madelyn Kist is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Forensic Science Program.  Dr. Kist received her PhD in Biomedical Science (Microbiology & Immunology) from Tulane University School of Medicine.  Her doctoral work focused on the next-generation microbicide EQ12 as a topical treatment for drug resistant skin and soft tissue infections. 

Dr. Kist received her MS and BS in Chemistry (Biochemistry) with a minor in forensic anthropology from Kent State University.  Dr. Kist has experience teaching lectures and labs in a variety of scientific disciplines, including microbiology, forensic science, human metabolism, and molecular biology.
